ejparrott
I'm just gearing up for changing the gearbox in The 109 from Series 4-speed to Defender LT77. I know it makes no difference, but the engine is a Disco 200TDi, just so you know. I've obviously got the Series master, flexi and metal pipes, but does anyone know if the series clutch pipe will screw in to the LT77 slave cylinder? Or do I need to change out other bits too? Cheers
western
591231 is the LT77 clutch slave cylinder part number, it's a Series 3 number too.http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/1662/591231-CLUTCH-SLAVE-CYLINDER.html so hopefully your pipe will screw in. Phil Hancock
The LT77 in Heathers disco has M12 threads in the slave cylinder and thats a very early model.
Maverik
If it doesn't fit you might need one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220990397728?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1712wt_895
Jon White
The slave cylinder is the same, so you can just reuse your series one hence no plumbing to do. Jon
ejparrott
That'll be the first thing to try then......what about pushrod, is it the same length or do I need to change that? (haven't got parts cat at work...)
western
parts cat only gives numbers & no other info such as length of items like clutch pushrods.
