Maverik
Hi People, A previous owner in the past had installed some kind of ariel to my windcreen, I was debating on trying to remove it, but it may be more of a hassle doing this than just leaving it and putting up with it till I can change the windscreen rubber. I've never seen how these things are installed, but I'm presuming there is an actually small hole drilled through the glass? and then the inner and outer parts are bonded to the glass... can anyone confirm? Cheers mav
dave1607
Normally just stuck on either side, no hole in the glass, so just peel it off. The best way is to slide something thin under it, I always used to use a plastic trim removal tool. Dave
TSD
They are usually capacitively coupled, so just stuck on the glass inside and out. e.g. http://www.panorama-antennas.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=72_109&product_id=
Maverik
Oh wow thats good news! I did wonder if there was actually a hole, but a quick google didn;t turn up anything that I could work out. Right I'll get on it, see if I can remove the thing...
