studmuffin
Mrs S`s Pug estate was cutting out so took it to a Pug approved repairer which is about 200 yards from our house. They first serviced it for about £200 and they verbally quoted me £500 for replacing the high pressure fuel pump in the fuel tank, which they said was a good price, but they couldnt guarantee that that was the problem!! That sat a little uncomfortable so I rang a main Pug dealer to check the price. A 206 SW does not have a high pressure fuel pump in the tank!!! Unluckily I did not have a written quote or I would have been on to peugeot and Trading Standards like a rat up an aqueduct! Turns out it was a tiny hole in the plastic petrol pipe! An approved dealer is not a main dealer and are as much good as an ashtray on a motorbike. Beware Cheers Barry
