mcc1979ian Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Ok so I'm currently fitting a v8 to my 90 and wonder if I should be replacing the main harness with a petrol version or is it possible to use the old td one and if so do I need to make any mods to it? If your fitting EFI in then there are some modifications you need to do. not difficult, neater finish also. But you could easily adapt your td one to fir easily. Looked at autos parks last night but the were after almost £400 but I'm sure I read somewhere someone got one from landrover for not much over £100. Leave the main loom alone to run all your lights etc. Then the ms loom becomes a seperate loom and you only need to tap in for an ignition feed.
