Unclealbert
Iv got a 52 plate D2 and land rover assured me that all the wiring loom's were standard and if I got a switch/relay/ heated screen fitted and had it put on there T4 program to tell the module it now had a heated screen it would all work fine. So iv had the screen fitted bought the switch and relay but can't find the wiring loom to plug the screen into. Land rover said it should be two plugs either side of the scuttle panel. There is nothing there. The windscreen guy said the wires normally disappear off through the scuttle panel to behind the dash somewhere. Is it possible they could be lurking behind my dash? Also I found a plug for my switch to plug into behind the switch panel above the money tray but then I found another plug that it also fitted behind another blanking plate. Now I don't no which one to use? I think the question is......... Help!! Cheers Alex.
bear
Yes there should be 2 connections by the scuttle. One for each "half" of the screen Griff
teabag
You can't miss them if they are there. On a D1 they are held by thin metal brackets just below the bonnet hinges, although i wouldn't be suprised if on a D2 the have been moved.
matfield
On a D2 they are right next to each of the hinges under the bonnet. Big lumps of connectors with thick purple and yellow (I'm using memory now so correct me if I'm wrong.) wire coming out of them. They're not actually that hidden at all
