GawieGreef
Hi There I bought a 2nd hand 2002 disco 2 ES / SE (not sure), and it would seem that the cruise control is not engaging. This is my first LR and unfortunately I am a programmer in the IT industry, so my technical knowledge is quite limited I have not done any diagnostic, other than driving, pulling the "set" switch forwars, and noticing no lights, and also noticing the cc is not "kicking in" Please be so kind to guide me through a process of what to check This is a manual, btw I have had a look at the fuse box, and looked at the fuse that had a picture of the speed dial next to it, assuming thats the correct fuse to look at Kind regards Gawie
teabag
Between the vacuum pump and the throttal actuator there is a short length of rubber hose, this may have become detached or perished so worth a check.
Bingy
Have you enabled cruise control by pressing the motorway switch on the dash panel? If so is it lit? Welcome to the forum
GawieGreef
#Bingy, That would obviously be a start, which I skipped. ? Problem is, my disco has the controls, but no switch to switch it on... Im guessing that it does not have cc then?
