Off Road Toad
Is the crash inertia switch plugged in/ tripped? Pressing the top of it down resets it.

Aragorn
Are you getting any normal auxiliary power? IE heater blower, radio etc?

Aragorn
must be a problem with the ignition switch or its wiring then? Regardless of ECU's, immobilisers and alarms, the aux electrics should still work with the ignition on.
