some thin wall ally tube approx 500mm long of......

12.7 mm diameter

1.0mm wall

10.5 mm bore

and

3.2 mm diameter

0.7 mm wall

1.8 mm bore

or in old style

1/2" diameter

1/8" diameter

measured as best an electrics person can measure with a digi vernier :o

No its not for a cage :P

Need to extend the ATL sender tubes for the fuel tank, and a new one is £120...all for a bit of tube.... :(

so it's worth a punt to see if I can get some ;)

does it have to be excatly that size? could you not make an adapter since B&Q sell aluminium tube in 1 m for smaller diameters and in 2 m lengths for larger diameters.

From memory it comes in 2 mm increments, starting at around 4 mm and covers the sizes you are after(brass tube, again in metric sizes, is available from 2 mm O.D. up to about 6 mm).
