ltwt1981
Anyone know off the top of your head or handy to measure, the thickness of a series front brake drum on the hub. I can measure it tonight but would like to know if possible before.

ltwt1981
Sounds about right to me. Where to get longer wheel studs then.

ltwt1981
I need to space off 15mm max, 5/6mm already with lack of brake drum is OK, but I need 10mm more. I could space off the rear of the hub a few mm I suppose. Would 5mm less be a problem on the studs then, I may have a look at it first. Jon White
If you lose the drum and replace the thickness with a spacer you end up back at the standard thickness therefore the front studs will be fine as standard. If you want to space more than that you'll need the extended studs. Zeus do em but they're pricey!!!! £5 ish each IIRC......... Jon

ltwt1981
I can get 16mm trailer studs in different lengths and quite reasonable will look at these, any thoughts on strength with 15mm spacers . I think it should be OK, I may machine screw the spacers back to the hub for more strength.
