Nigelw
Went out for a couple of hours to a mates place and had a drive of his 300Tdi round the farm and the old quarry, now either I forgot how much over hang there is or I simply forgot how to drive off road but I gave the bottoms of the rear quarters a bit of a slap in the mud He didn't care that's what happens to it(so he says but it might not really be the case if you know what I mean?). Now looked briefly at loads of of H/D rear bumpers but nothing that gives the protection I think I might want, I am looking for something like this..... (excuse poor drawing on photobucket picture!!) Is there one available off the shelf where I can trim the back quarter to suit or is it a custom fabrication jobby?
Lewis
Try ARB or TJM, both produce ones for land cruiser models that offer the protection you desire
reads90
I have one on my disco Goes around down the side but not as much as you wanted. But enough to protect everything. Solid thick metal Cheers Ali
Boris113
I had one on my old disco, it didn't go as far round as you would like, but it went far enough that I never managed to ding the corners and it survived some good knocks. I believe it was made by Discoparts.
