Ebojonson
Hey guys my disco struggels to disengage from difflock to normal drive leaving me with the clunking on full lock. I was looking at a mates spare tbox from a 300tdi defender and it seems to have a pivot point thats bolted to the side of the caseing that allows propper movment of the difflock gearstick. Now he donated the linkage to me and i cant find the bolt holes on my 300tdi. Will they deffo be there or do you think this is a defender only thing? thebiglad
Have you tried reversing to get out of diff-lock?
Ebojonson
Yeah i have man the best way to describe it is the actual linkage brtween the stick and the pear shaped tab on the transfer box has too much play and isnt engageing drive properly again ive got a short video of the movment on the linkage to give yous a idea as i reckon it knackered bushes on it. Ive just rolled under and managed to knock it back into gear properly and its drives perfect agAin. Ive also compaired the defender linkage and its miles different from the one on the disco. Right for some reason photo buckets not likeing my video but ill try and figure it out when i get in. Is it comon for these to wear out?
