You realise that each extra axis you need to machine something, roughly doubles the cost?

There really aren't many things that NEED more than 4 Axis. It might be worth re-examining the design or machining strategy to see if it's possible to machine on fewer axis? I'd be happy to have a look (I'll even sign an NDA if you like).

I 2nd that, what on earth have you thought up that requires more than 3 or 4 axis?

Also I might know a man with a 3/4 axis machine ^_^

A series of compound angle holes into a circular component. Getting a CNC lathe with a C axis live tooling was the best money we ever spent
