Weather Facts

A couple i really like:

Rapid City, South Dakota on 22 January 1943, the temperature rose from -20 °C at 0732 to 7.2 °C two minutes later. This was caused by the onset of warm Chinook winds

**** me that must have been weird- a 27degree rise in 2 minutes!!!!!!!!!:o

500 million litres of rain can fall from a single thunderstorm

Thats 1/2 a million TONS of water just running around the sky waiting to fall on us :o

EDITED- can anyone tell me why my posts automatically have 2 extra paragraph breaks added in when i am only adding one in myself?
