sixfeetofmud
Does anyone know why I can't kill the engine without unplugging the new hazard switch I installed ? I plugged the old switch back in and I can turn the truck on and off ( without the use of hazards ) .

western
as it doesn't work with the new switch, it's got to be faulty, the old switch -- have you tried opening it & cleaning the contacts, there isn't anything that needs special tools, is the plug fitted the correct way up. sixfeetofmud
Thanks for the reply . It ended up finding a jumper between the permenant (purple) and light switch supply (green) that the previous owner put in that back fed power to the ignition .
