Scotts90
Hi guys, got a request for some decent pics of a td5 90 fuel filler neck panel. I have NAS quarters to fit on my tub which ties in with the relocation and fitment of the td5 tank. I need to fabricate the filler neck mount, the lower and side panels look pretty straight forward but I need to see the top part to see if its curved or just flat...a google image search doesn't show any great detail. I do have the filler neck and also have a 130/hi-cap plastic filler (this screws on to the outside of the quarter but is no good on the 90 as the aperture is too close to the wheel arch. Any help appreciated Scott
western
the recess shape looks to be the same as a 110 fuel filler recess, s would photo's & diemensoins from any 110 be of use ?
Scotts90
Yes it's worth a try. It's the roof of the housing that I'm more interested in. Is it arc'd to follow the opening or just flat across the top?
western
I'll take some photo's of mine & post up here shortly. these might help, it's straight at the top, only the outer skin panel is curved. the first 3 are internal in rear loadbay, rest are under the wing rear of rear axle. western
looking at the 110 parts book you might be able to adapt these to fit items 10 & 11 in http://lrcat.com/#31/4/52724 [as fitted to 110/130 with hi cap rear pick up body] the filler part on a 110 only comes pre fitted as it's spot welded to the arch & outer wing panels. http://lrcat.com/#31/4/52722 you can see it as part of rh rear wing item 3. as it's all straight edges, it should be to difficult to bend some sheet up to suit. Scotts90
Thanks to the supplied pics I managed to knock up a mount in best blue peter fashion. Cardboard mock up to begin with And once my dire upload speed transfers the rest of the pics up I'll show the metal version Cheers again Western

western
nice work, that was quick, next is sticky back plastic & tank tape, it'll be rust free in 2nd pic lower left what's the lower holes for ???
Scotts90
The holes are for the side markers fitted to the NAS model, undecided whether to fit LED markers in there or cover them with the chequer plate
western
I should have figured that out, forgot you said the panels were NAS 90 items, a pair of red markers would be good but might get covered in road flith to quickly.
