Defender td5 nanocom evo codes help

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I tried starting my defender up for the first time today since starting the project. The engine turns over but wont fire up.

I plugged my nanocom in an these are the faults that came up. :

2.8 ambient pressure circuit

4.3 coolant temperature circuit

6.3 coolant temp circuit

6.8 ambient pressure circuit

10.3 tachometer drive open load

10.4 gearbox abs drive open load

14.4 gear box abs drive open load

19.6 noisey crank signal has been detected

24.7 problem detected with autobox

Does anyone know what these codes mean or how to fix any of them?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Just seen this...

I had the Noisy Crank Signal when I accidentally broke the sensor (Should really say forgot to disconnect when we ran the gearbox back) and the only option was a Blue Box variant. It started and ticked-over but would not rev.

Replaced with Gen part and bingo...

I have no idea if the other comments would stop the engine firing up but it does suggest that the ECU is not getting data feeds from numerous sensors....

Have you cleared the faults to see if they re-occur / are current?
