landyawd
Ok I'm looking for a set of recovery lights for marshalling and general site use. I have not got any room for a light bar due to the external cage and I really don't want to go higher. Has anyone used a set of the strobe lights like the ones that are grill mounted? Are they any good? Any idea of the best ones to buy from experience?
tacr2man
Forget about any that look like the ones amber in your pics. the other type are much brighter . If its long life without probs look for known makes eg whelen , premier hazard , code 3 etc . LEDS are the right way to go as lot less current drain , also you will need several to cover all angles as leds dont cover a large viewing angle successfully so you need to think 1 facing every 45degs htsh
cactus
I've fitted Premier Hazard to mine and they are fine. Don't waste your money on the cheap china junk!

Happyoldgit
Leave the cheap Chinese knockoffs, you won't go far wrong with the makes that tac2man mentions.
Maverik
I've got a pair of these fitted to the rear of my truck: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130937394174?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT They're glass lenses with fully sealed controllers in the back, I looked long and hard at all the different types, they work well, bright and decent quality build.
