Bridle What Size Do I Need.

On the front of my 90 i've got a pair of jate rings. I've always been told to use a bridle to spread the load between the chassis legs.

So the question is what size/rating do I need? It will be used in conjunction with my 24mm Nylon Rope and possibly a KERR in the future.

To quote HFH in the Tech Archive http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=2684 regarding the use of KERR's.

"using a secondary "Bridle" can help here, the bridle is of a lower rating, and will equally break, as its not up to the recovery, but it acts as a "Brake" or "sail" in these events"

So do I buy a bridle rated at 12 Tonne or something smaller? Would a winch sail slow the rope down if anything went pear shaped?

All advice greatfully received.

Many thanks
