My daughter is considering buying a 200TDI Auto to replace her rather tired rotten 90,never having had a 200 with an auto box i was wondering what any body thinks, it would be mainly used for towing a twin axle 3.5 ton horse box, at times long distance mainly motorway journeys. It is high mileage but with full history. Any comments regarding suitability etc appreciated, also what mpg would she expect. bond Posted September 9, 2005 Share Posted September 9, 2005 hi we got a 300 and copes well with 2 horses and box, the auto makes lovely smooth progress with no jerky changes, cant see 200 being a lot different, both a bit underpowered but your never in a rush with horses in the back,should do 25 mpg at about 55/60 mph Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
