Doug G.
I am so paranoid about my cooling system after getting a new head that I have been checking the fluid level berfore and after every trip. I have notices what looks to be what I describe as swamp gas lingering over the water in the expansion tank, what is it? Its a new head so cant be exhause gases, had a sniff and could not detect anything so any ideas?
BogMonster
steam? unless you are cultivating a swamp in your header tank
waveydave
Maybee just steam? Depressurise the coolent system and the coolent will imitiatly boil .problem comes if you run it with teh cap off and it produces fresh swap gas. Well thats my theroy and im sticking to it untill im flamed.
