Front shock turrets

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Fitted 35" tyre to my def 90 and general census is to fit raised suspension. Going to get some pro comp +5" shocks but question is can I still use my standard turrets or do I have to fit - or + 2" shock turrets.

With standard turrets you will gain the 5" in suspension drop - a lot of dislocation (assuming the rest of the set up will flex that much).

If you go for +2" turrets you will get 2" more compression travel and 3" more drop.

A better plan in my eyes.

This all depends what you want to actually achieve from the suspension.

For starters:

-Why do you feel the need to fit "raised" suspension? Do the 35's rub?

-Fitting longer shocks is not a suspension lift.
