studmuffin
So we just had a new install of an Italian machine( about £1.5M) and I had to provide a full engineers tool kit. So after the Italian engineers had finished---- my Makita drills were Donald Ducked. Our crane engineers now use Milwaukees, and I got our Sparkys to order me a matched pair of drill, screw driver, hammer drill/impact driver from City Electrical at trade price. Today I got both 18V brushless screw/drill/hammer drill and impact driver at £328+ vat and they are the poodles plums. Very chuffed Barry

RustyNissanPrairie
Just bought myself on account a new Bosch 18V 4.0ah cordless impact driver - 650NM torque for a big project at work...............and no doubt the odd Landrover nut&bolt ! Bowie69
Yep, I have them, and an impact wrench as well, wouldn't be without now.
rrr47
I dropped my Bosch drill yesterday off some scaffolding, about 14 foot onto solid concrete. Apart from some cracks to the casing, the drills fine.
muddy
I see Milwaukee are now on to 5.0 Ah battery's have a lot of twin packs on offer in their fuel range. It's good stuff, the workshop drill is a Milwaukee and has stood some abuse. Will.
studmuffin
That's the ones. Fuel 4.0 brushless motors. I like them because they are really compact in size and have serious poke. The booklet says made in Germany. I expected them to be American! Barry
Bowie69
The other really nice thing about the Fuel brushless impact, is that you can set the torque you want, 40, 100 or 210lb/ft all out, and it is TINY! http://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2655b-
Josh NZ
I have these exact models (Hammer drill and impact driver). Fantastic, almost 18 months in, and both been heavily used and abused on construction sites and workshops. So good, I even went out and bought the matched angle grinder and circular saw! I wouldn't buy any other brand now! I will however be buying the 5.0ah batteries as soon as can afford it. 4ah is great, but the impact does suck the juice pretty quick if I'm constantly going at it.
