Daan
I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30-Ton-Industrial-Hydraulic-Workshop-Garage-Shop-Press-with-gauge-NEW-CT278-/381193219323?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58c0e2ecfb From the price you can tell its not the most sophisticated thing, but I replaced my bushes with it succesfully. I think the quality is good enough for the amount of times I use it. I saw 10 tons max so far. Daan
simonr
This. I enjoy fabbing up things, but time in the workshop is getting ever more precious. Thanks all, decision made. Anyone made a press brake yet, in the style of the SWAG Offroad kits?: That looks pretty good! I have a fly press which is fantastic for bushes and has yet to be defeated by anything Land Rover. You can use it for bending plate - but I think something like this would be better / more precise. Si
Cynic-al
Get some vee tooling for any press and you'll be able to do basic bends. I use an electric hydraulic cropper at work to bend stuff for home. I've done 5" x 1/2" with it although I must admit I was a bit twitchy. Lol
