muddy
I am looking for a 12V alarm/siren as loud and irritating as possible at a reasonable ( read cheap ) price, ebay has lots of choice but I'm not sure just how loud and irritating they are! So does anyone have any experiences and or reccamendations. Cheers, will.
Lewis
Try RSG engineering in the west mids, they supply blue light equipment. They are as loud as you risk without inviting ligitation
western
IIRC in UK emergency vehicle sirens are limited to 100 watt output so anything over that would be imported kit.
tacr2man
Have a look on ebay put in whelen siren , they are not cheap btw you need amp and speaker 100w are best having it in anyway switchable whilst on road is illegal
Lewis
Whelan and Woodway are good, but RSG are too, and cheaper. You could just cycle the tone and leave it set to bull horn, that's not illegal afaik
muddy
I may have misled you all, I want something to go in the back of my van to make your ears bleed if you shouldn't be in there, ruled out a Henry crank for being too quick I'm after something more shrill. If you get me. Will.
Mutley
Well why didn't you say? If "SHRILL" and "EAR BLEEDING" is what you're after I have just the thing!?! I'll send you a tape of the Wife calling me from under the LR, informing me that I haven't completed my other chores!
