A day 'greenlaning'

Well, spent a whole day 'greenlaning' with a difference. 33 hours without sleep (can't sleep on planes) saw me being driven around the Mongolian steppes through th Hustai National Park just south west of the capital city, Ulaanbaatar!

Stunning scenery, not a road in sight literally as far as the eye can see and beyond. Not in my landy unfortunately, not me driving :( .... These cruisers pop up everywhere!

Loads of wildlife, including the home of truly wild Przwalski Horse, marmots, black vultures and golden eagles, all of which we saw, pretty close up. The birds are MASSIVE!

If only you could easily get your landy here, you could spend a month and more exploring the area!

Right, gotta be up in 5 hours for work, so sleep now!

Not doing too bad with the food David! I was told it was all boiled meat, which isn't completely true (although they do like to boil mutton). Had two four course meals during the 'greenlaning' yesterday!

Nothing to be worried about then.....
