I saw 2 studs on the engine bay side of bulkhead that I assumed the switch bolted to, but when I offered the switch up I found that the pitch of these 2 studs was too large.. Yea I was shown a pic over on def2 showing the same thing so rest assured yours isn't the only one not to have the bracket..
