muddy
Evening all, I had the shafts out of my disc brake sailsbury today and noticed this twist in the diff end of the short shaft. Do they twist and run a long while longer or is death imminent? Furthermore has anyone any experience of britpart/all makes/bearmach/cadburys halfshafts for these? Has anyone tested one? It lives on my tdi 90 that is used for RTVing. Will.

Soren Frimodt
They can look like that for a long time, I wouldn't worry too much. Re. Britpart shafts, my mate once fitted two of these because the factory fitted ones where worn at the flange end (surprise) whilst he was fitting an airlocker. At first testdrive, only after doing 40kms from his house, they both blew in spectacular fashion at the same time up a not too tricky loose hill. Needless to say he bought Ashcroft shafts and fitted instead.
