vdubjim Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Just got my new to me 90 and no 5th, no grinding, no noise lever feels like it moves there though. I pulled the top off, grub screw is in place, nylon looks good. One posting spoke about adjusting the stop. My question. .. My 5th stop is not adjustable.. Any ideas? vdubjim Posted June 1, 2015 Author Share Posted June 1, 2015 Ok ive got it all worked out, the guy i got the truck from is paying the core since it was sold to me as a 'working' vehicle. now another question, if DAVE is still following. Transfer Box? my serial starts with 28D so im guessing Lt230 its an 89 2.5TD. Since the diesel stuff is hard to come by here in the usa, im debating going for the transfer box also while my shipping is already worked out. my speedo shows 299k on it, and i have no history on the car other than most of the gasket surfaces have clear silicone on them.
