Do I need to remove the ladder frame and get it fixed or will the sump be fine with just 1 missing bolt. It's one of the shorter bolts on the side. Les Henson Posted June 6, 2015 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Just the one bolt won't make much difference. Just make sure that RTV squeezes out where the broken bolt is, and put a blob in the hole as well. As long as the surfaces are clean and dry there should be a decent seal once the sealant is cured.
