reb78
I'm after some seat retaining brackets for the rear seats on a freelander 1 to try and fit a set of seats I've bought into my 110. I only paid £10.50 for the seats so don't want to break the bank getting the brackets! Can anyone recommend a reliable place to get parts from freelanders in for breaking? I could try and make the brackets, but the standard ones would save time and look more 'oem'
landroversforever
Reb... Have you got a picture of the brackets? my local scrappy has a couple of freelanders if you get no joy locally.
FridgeFreezer
There's a few on eBay, TBH I don't see how even a disreputable one could mess up two bits of metal? I think I've used Gentlemen Of Salvage before now with no issues.

If you happen to be in the scrappy for something else, its two of each of items 1 and 5 below that i am after I can find 1 new for about £10 a side, but 5 seems to be £35+

reb78
I think two of each per car Ross. One each side. I've contacted a couple of local places today with no joy. One suggested avenger4x4 so I've sent them an email this afternoon.
reb78
No joy with avenger4x4. Helpful chaps though, so will bear in mind for future parts.
reb78
I've been offered all these bits from a place at Stevenage that has a couple of freelanders in for breaking. They want £20 for all four brackets - I don't think I will get them much cheaper than that? (Just seems expensive I suppose because I got the seats for a tenner!) reb78
Thanks Ross for offering to look out for these bits. I'm all sorted now. Just need to get some rectangular box section and i can make the frame for the seats to attach to.
