Theviper1987
Hi all I no it not the right thing etc etc etc. But how do I go about getting the overrun 'burble/popping'(that is a word I have just made up). When u floor it then back off. Do I just add fuel right across the map kpa 15 line? Thanks
Quagmire
Instead of doing the usual and leaning out in the low load areas of the map, just up the ve values to add a load in. At least I thinks its that easy... Maybe regard timimg too? A guru from here can confirm/deny my suspicions...

Bowie69
Yes, was going to say, makes sense to me to up the fuelling, turn off the fuel cut on overrun of course, and then retard timing, quite a lot... Not tried it, but the theory says flames out the exhaust

Bowie69
It's in one the basic settings on megatune/tunerstudio, you need it OFF.

Rangie46
Also while I have all of urs attention. My ts keeps on going off line on auto tune. Then re starting. Is this a common fault or is there an update I'm missing Mine does the same but I think it is the usb to serial connection, the usb plug is a bit loose so I tape it down to the laptop
FridgeFreezer
If the time counter restarts it's the ECU resetting (Megatune detects this I think, I assume TS would too), if it keeps on rolling then it's most likely a loose cable. I don't think this value is displayed as default but it gets logged.
Theviper1987
Ok. It done any bother me as the autotune table doesn't reset. I was just wounding y It did it. Also I'm using a USB adapter thing aswell
rangie92
Tuner studio auto tune stopping or saying ecu is offline even though the engine is running and ecu still plugged into the laptop can be as simple as the usb cable is sitting directly on top or crossing power cables wether they are the vehicle power or the power supply for laptop as I discovered yesterday after experiencing these problems
