Tanuki Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 I don't think it makes any difference, provided you remember to 'prime' them [hold them upright and fully-extend/fully-compress them a few times] to get the oil and gas into the right places before you fit them. I failed to do this on some Bilstein gas-pressurised inserts on an Escort rally-car once. Boydie Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 As Tanuki said, pump them several times then compress them fully in an upright position and restrain them compressed, very large zip-ties are the best, after that you can store them horizontally or vertically it won't matter.
