ianmayco68 Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 Hi all, just overhauled the front axle new swivel ball, bearings and all and I fitted new bronze bushes in the rear of the stub axle (part no FRC4319) put the hub on and the shafts wont come out far enough. After stripping it down it appears the cv joints wont go into the bronze bushes is it normal when fitting new bushes to have to tap the stub axles down onto the shafts or should they be free moving as the old ones were ? cheers Ian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
