FridgeFreezer
Any kit for Rover V8 spin-on filters should do, except the replacement pump covers designed for V-belt type engines. Try Think Automotive, Merlin Motorsport, Rallydesign for new ones, or check ebay for 2nd hand. Hoses are almost always 1/2" BSP standard hydraulic hose, hose can be bought by the metre from hydraulics shops plus basic fittings, it's all low-pressure by their standards. FridgeFreezer
Yeah,. although the ones where the hoses come out the side can be lower profile if that's an issue.
mcc1979ian
Its just to stop the filter getting smashed where it is just now.

Tanuki
Everything's possible: if you want sane advice I can recommend the guys at Merlin Motorsport [based out of Castle Combe circuit in wiltshire]. They're used to dealing with the likes of V8 track-day AC Cobra replicas, which have rather more demanding lubrication issues than our kind of vehicles. They sorted-out a friend's Marcos [Roots-supercharged 300BHP 'BOB' Cosworth - floor it on a dry road and get wheelspin in 3rd at 100MPH!] rather well.
DrRob
Is it possible to fit a remote filter to a 200tdi?
daslandroverman
Yes. A V8 kit would also fit a 200 Tdi as Tey utilise the same filter.
DrRob
Thanks! Might make oil filter changes a lot easier if I mount it on the inner wing......
Bowie69
Expensive and space-consuming way to make life only a tiny bit easier...
