mmmktm
Hello everyone! It's my first post, so first I would like to compliment everybody, here from Portugal! I have a 1995 Disco 300tdi, 3 door, and my alarm/central looking ECU (AMR2109) lost the C/L function. I never had a remote and always used the key. I've bought the spider bypass conector, and I'm planing to remove the alarm fuses. Does anybody know if i can then unplug/remove the AMR2109 ECU? I know a good electronics guy that I'm hoping can repair it. But if he can't, the car would work anyway... Thanks! Season greetings!
Range Rover Blues
Hey there. I'm having an awful sense of Deja-Vue about your question. You can get away with removing the alarm ECU and jumping one pair of wires so that it will start, but you'll have no central locking and possibly no interior lights. teabag
I can't say any more than what was said in your thread in the LandyZone Forum, other than your system does not have a spider, and if your only interested in your central locking, then u may have a faulty central locking master actuator within your drivers door, it may be as simple of a slight adjustment require of its mounting plate on the door. So u will have to remove the door card to access the actuator and check out the actuator for operation, plus of course it has a 12v supply.
