miketomcat
Walters don't seize your vehicle the police do but only if your on there when it's closed or you stray off the byway. iirc it opens something like may till August but you must check the local rights of way department. Walters put rocks in the track on their land when it's closed and remove them when open. Mike
Yolandi
ok thanks, how challenging is the track?
Retroanaconda
Not particularly, we took a Freelander 1 over it without any bother. Unless it's changed since 2011 of course. It needed some waffles on the steps section further up mind.

landrover598
The lower section of Sarn from Aberdulais to Dyffryn Cellwyn is open June, July and August every year. Just keep to the marked byway when crossing Walters land during these times and you wont have any problems. The rest is closed.
Retroanaconda
It's also diverted sometimes through Walters when Motorsport events are on. In this case you are routed out elsewhere (through the wind farm for example).
