Yeah tbh its the best one i've seen the ones i've had in the past have been really bad and just repared them so with this one it just needed a light repair so decided going this way :)

Yeah should be as with all the other's i've always off roaded them and wasn't to fust how it looked but with this one being for the road only i've gone to town on it :)

Left the paint stripper to do its work this morning will have a go at removing the old paint / underseal tomorow :)

Scraped the old paint / underseal off from the underside of the floor then I filled all the additional holes in the tub with pop rivets then once the tub parts I've ordered start to come in I can fit some before the tub gets painted :)

Yeah i'm trying to work out if the tub is newer than the landy is as the tub look quite clean and undamaged / rotten in places most are plus both the corners where the lights are fitted are like new one had no corner cover fitted and is like new but where the reg plate would be looks like its had at least 4 veriant size reg plates fitted in the past and according to the guy we got it from said he was an archeologist and has had the landy in Egypt and i'm wondering if its lived over there for a while which kind of would explain why the tub is in good nick and may have had a small reg plate fitted but can't understand why the bulkhead was as bad as it was :(

Not much to report just been digging some of the old bits n bobs that was buried in a corner stuff that's not being re-fitted but new or refurbished parts to order once we get all the bodywork painted in the next few weeks :D

Been rubbing some of the bodywork down today, still got the roof, roof sides and seat box to do yet but will have to dig the jetwash out as they are filthy, will post pic's on Monday once I've done everything :)

Its great when the weather is nice and you can get stuff done like wwashing the roof, roof sides and screen then gave the roof and sides a light rub down but due to the sun getting to me i forgot again with the pic's so i will deffo do them tomorrow.

Well that's the paint and stuff ordered inc body seals and a new safari rear door but not the door seals as I will have to wait till next payday to order them as well as a few other bit's n bob's that I will need :)

Well all the paint and everything has arrived inc the new safari rear door so once my holidays have been accepted at work then I can get everything ready for spraying :D
