Rattler and son 1971 S11a swb Restoration

Well it was such a nice day yesterday we decided on trying out the new spray gun on the bonnet as this isn't being used then sun got the bug and we ended up spraying everything we had, still got the get the front door half's yet but at least most of it is done now :D

Yes, I don’t know how you managed to handle them all and move them around. Very well done in a confined area.

Yeah it was really awkward we had to leave the roof outside on the trailer overnight due to having no room for it in the garage the this morning before i went to work we lifted it off the trailer to the floor but still outside just incase it got windy whilst i was at work and son gone out.

Spent yesterday fitting the front panel, rad, intercooler then decided to roughly offer the n/s wing up and noticed the bottom intercooler hose was fouling the inner wing so i ended up re- positioning the intercooler which meant redoing the intercooler hosing which ended up looking better, no pic's yet will post them later 🙂

Didn't do anything to the 2a over the weekend as i'm waiting for a few things to arrive, door seals and a couple of sill rail to tub brackets then I can finish fitting the seat box in and enjoy my 2 weeks off whilst i'm fitting them :D
