Britpart and “seal” are an oxymoron.  I think the original was Lucas/GKN, but can’t remember for sure.  It’s such a big job to do it’s really not worth trying to cut costs on pattern.  Call Dunsfold LR - they’ll know for certain and will have stock.

Oop's I forgot to update from the weekend, well the engine is out and on the bench, the back end of the engine is stripped and cleaned up ready for the new seal and gasket to be fitted once the seal arrives, I also noticed that the timing cover was leaking slightly behind the water pump so I will do that whilst the engine's out then hopefully this weekend we will have the engine back in :D
