johno753
Can anyone suggest where to get a new set of injector's from ?
Bowie69
Why do you want to replace them? Just check for flow and spray, and if you want, get a service kit and do it yourself...
johno753
Ok will check these ones. But I do need a full set for the 4.2 vbelt I have waiting to be rebuilt .
FridgeFreezer
Is the 4.2 flapper or hotwire? I think it's hotwire which I think means standard clamp-down injectors. Usually I'd say pull them from any rusty hotwire V8, or a D2 or P38 but in the colonies that's not always the cheap option. For new ones, you can use anything high-impedance (Hi-Z) that fits and has roughly the right operating pressure and flow rate. That's the joy of megasquirt - just adjust the REQ_FUEL value to suit the flow rate. They're a fairly standard shape / pressure / connection. johno753
Thanks for the replies guess I'll be on the lookout for a tired disco or p38
Quagmire
As fridge says, anything will work as long as the flowrate is similar and the injector body dimensions are the same... I have Vauxhall injectors on my 3.5!
FridgeFreezer
By "similar" I mean a pretty broad range, you don't want to go lower flow but you could probably get away with almost double the flow if you had to.

dirtyninety
so according to that website you should have Bosch 0-280-150-556 injectors. A quick Ebay search shows theyre fitted to LOADS of vehicles
