jchasey
Hi, Just bought a Defender 90 and the previous owner had made a number of wiring alterations which I am currently investigating... there was also a cubby box installed and having removed it temporarily prior to refitting more securely I discovered the following wiring connections underneath that were not connected...could anyone identify what they are? Many thanks, John
cookie64
they look a bit like the connectors for the 300tdi EGR Valve ECU (corect position too)
nickwilliams
No EGR on a late eighties vehicle. It would have orginally been a 2.5TD Stereo? A better picture of the connectors would make it a lot easier.
mmgemini
All Lucas wiring colours are the same from pr-war until and including the 300Tdi. Try looking here http://www.expeditionlandrover.info/Lucaswirecode.htm
Cornish Rattler
Not saying yours is or has had but when I bought mine 1988 90 there was the remains of a split charger system but don't think it was still working so we ripped it out
miketomcat
They are definitely not late 80's ninety plugs those plugs are post 200tdi at the earliest. Having said that it could be a stereo plug. Mike
jchasey
Well the engine has been upgraded to a 300 tdi, so that could be the explanation...
cookie64
300 EGR plugs then
Roverdrive
Another vote for 300 EGR plugs, as it matches what is below the cubby box of my '97 110. EGR has been removed from my vehicle, or perhaps was never fitted as the wiring harness connection for the fuel pump is not there either.
