mad_pete
I have a LT85 seat box and the fuel tank under the driver seat. I'm looking for a r380 seat box. The ones I'm looking at have a 'tool box' area under the driver seat. Is conversion of this to accommodate the fuel tank simply via large cutting disk ? Will any of the bolt holes or lid panels not fit ?

daveturnbull
No cutting disk needed. It's all held in with rivets.
mad_pete
How easy it to paint the seat box? If it's already painted can I just go over the top does it need any special paint ?
mad_pete
Ok I have my seat box and seems more modular than I have it credit for. As I only need the r380 front part I'm wondering about just swapping either the whole front panel or just the gearbox adapter piece. The lt85 seat is front looks on piece but nothing a cutting disk won't sort out. Is that easy enough to do ? Split out the front plate ?
