Crank pulley on solid help

Recommended Posts

Your right the others look fine from where i'm sitting ( 465 miles away ) the little ones worth changing , if you have some old but good condition hose lying around you could cut a piece from that. i never throw old hoses away. a small piece always comes in handy. new jubilee bands too.

As it is ex-military and knowing the saying "if it doesn't move paint it, if it moves salute it" then surely they should have saluted that fan and not painted it?

Good job DC. nice to see it back together, did you have to drive the new pulley on or did it slip on?

I should be getting all the bits to do mine on Mon.

Kevm after I cleaned the shaft with 240 sand paper (finest I had) little copperslip on it, the damper slid on a treat. Just marked where the key was on the dust seal and lined it up. Good luck with doing yours !

Thanks peaklander, I'm the one in the family with the patients apparently :)
