Shackleton
Remember that old black foam rubber-like substance they used to make bicycle saddles and steering wheels out of in the '70's. You'll def know the stuff if you had a Raleigh Grifter all those years back (see saddle below). Wondering if there's a silicone or some sort of compound or adhesive that could be used for a good filler for holes in that sort of foam rubber? I've been looking at various silicones and off the shelf sealants, plasti-dip, sugru and various others but I'd love to be sure what I use was going to properly adhere to the foamy stuff. FridgeFreezer
Not me, but I've seen them use 2-part latex foam/rubber stuff on Mythbusters a few times to make various things. Theatrical / model making supplies perhaps?
Shackleton
Ha! You led me to an interview on Popular Mechanics with the Mythbusters talking about their favourite glues thanks John. Which led me to Barge Adhesives. I'll drop them an email. This is the Mythbusters I/V if anyone's interested in their glue habit
