Righto thanx lads any ideas on the egt gauge I don't want to pay for one install it then find out it's no good
-

-
It's a bloody shame that folk pinch stuff I'd be gutted and out for blood
-
Hey guys got a couple of questions
1) I've been looking into getting an egt gauge for my td5 90 any make or type to avoid or are they pretty much all the same?
2) I was thinking of getting the injector cleaning stuff that goes in the tank is this a good idea
3) am I right in thinking you can't mix coolant with a different one i.e of i have the blue one in I can't put the pink one in cause I vaguely remember my dad saying you can't mix them

-

Hey I got my 90 td5 for £11k it had a few things already done to it ie ( upgraded sus and lift kit snorkel cooper off road tyres ecu remap boost oil and turbo gauges rev counter fitted also has been sound proofed inside a few other cosmetic things in the cab) so saved me money doin it my self I'd check how it runs check for signs of hg failure would be one I'd advise there's a few threads on here about what to look for in respect of looking for common faults I'm sure the guys on here will keep you right
-
Yeah think it'll be Khan I there's 2 I've seen where I live looks pretty carp I feel for the poor wee defender under the tacky trim
-
Hey guys I was just wanting to ask if you have seen the defenders that have been modded with plastic on the arches I've seen 2 the 90 and 110 versions imo they look dreadful. I don't think you should mess with the classic lines of the defender
-
Ok cool what would you suggest would be good lube to use
-
Hey guys I dunno if this is just me over thinking or not my 90 td5 when I start from cold seems to have little power but after like 2 mins of running seems fine is this me worrying over nowt
-
The master went on my 90 it's the td5 though. sounds like what happened when mine went I agree with the guys change both it'll save you faffing about with draining bleeding it twice
-
I agree with the guys don't rush into it mate i wanted a defender 90 since I was young and my dad used to take me to the army barracks I'm 32 now just got my 90 2 months ago I was lucky it was from a dealer so I got some warranty as the clutch master cylinder went 3 days into me having it so I got it done with the garage footing the bill. Also when it gets it through the mot that doesn't guarantee it's a sound defender there could be stuff lurking under the bonnet

My defender is a 2003 would those manuals be the same for it?
-
I like those truck lite ones Todd very nice spread indeed I will have a look at pricing etc do the take the bouncing about i.e off road driving well?
-
Haha was wanting brighter lights was just think LEDs are bright
