  1. I have one in the shed but it needs a couple of broken bolts removed from it. If you can wait a couple of weeks, I could probably sort it out for you.

Vulcan Bomber (an iconic aircraft, always loved seeing them over Waddo and had one as our fly past at Swinderby)

I'm interested in your item. Could you possibly send me some photos taken from different angles, both front and back?

    Many thanks.

  2. I'm in the process of fitting power steering to my Land Rover 90 2.5 NA diesel. However, I have hit a roadblock on one of the components that I need. I have been unable to get hold of the bracket that mounts the PAS pump to the engine, part number ERC6974.

Does anybody have one kicking around in their shed or garage on an old 2.5 NA engine? I have cash waiting. Alternatively, could I borrow one so that I can have it 3D laser scanned? Hopefully, then I might be able to get one manufactured at a local engineering company.

I have attached a photograph of the item in question, just so that you know what you are looking for when you go rooting around your shed or garage.

    Many thanks.

  3. I have taken the window catch/lock off the door and it appears to be all there. I now suspect that the small tongue that presses up on the bottom edge of the windows is worn.

I will see if it is possible to build it up with some araldite. If not, then I will see about getting hold of a new lock assembly. Unfortunately, the newer locks come with a lever rather than a knob, but I might be able to swap the knob on mine for the lever on the new one.

These are images of my current lock.

  4. Does anybody have an exploded diagram with part numbers for the front door of a Land Rover 90 (1987 reg) with sliding windows?

I have managed to find an exploded diagram but it doesn't have any part numbers on it.

I have got rattling windows and would like to refurbish the entire assembly rather than just bodging it to stop the rattle.

    Many thanks.

  5. I have an ex-MoD 1987 FFR Land Rover 90 that has sliding windows in the passenger and driver doors.

The window lock is a large knob that you twist to lock or un-lock the sliding windows. Unfortunately, the window lock on the driver door doesn't work and you can easily open the window and reach in to un-lock and open the door.

Do I need to replace the window lock assembly as a whole or can I repair it?

If I need to replace it, does anybody know the part number?

    Thanks.
