The arm moves back and forth, thus moving the mirror in and out. I had it tucked in as it worked for my use. The top of mirror must tilt approx 15 degrees maybe.

Very good info, I thank you so much for responding to with such helpful info. I'm going to go for it and give it a try.

    Thank you!

  2. Chick Drumstick,

Huge thanks for the reply with images! Now the vision is starting to sink in. Your right they are a bit higher than the top of the door. I think I would welcome the additional vision.

Can the Defender mirror arm be adjusted or is it in a fixed position when attached to the truck?

How many degrees can the mirror head tilt?

I am wondering about what Wingnut mentioned in his post about cutting the mirror arm from the mounting bracket to also cause the mirror to sit a lower.

    Thanks!

  3. Hello Everyone,

Sorry to have arrived 5yrs too late for this thread. Still I am very curious as to see images of how exactly these wing mirrors are connected to a Land Rover Discovery. I have search high and low but cannot find a single image online. If anyone is out there and has an image that speaks a thousand words please do post a response.

    Huge Thanks in advance
