Should be a white wire with a brown trace I believe, and it should go to the oil pressure switch on the engine.
Quite impressed you've never noticed the oil light doesn't come on
Thanks, should it come on even if i have plenty oil in it.

I,m a proper numpty when it comes to auto electrics,
blower switch not working, fan spins freely but it looks like i only get 3v at the lever switch on either of the 2 green wires,
thought it would be easy to change to a 2 speed rotary knob.
any ideas.
thanks

Thanks Red90 but i've looked at a wiring diagram and it might as well be in chinese to me, i think i will ask Brittania restoration on youtube to do an idiots guide to changing the switch cos he did some heater modification vids, it seems odd that there is no live feed to either of the 2 wires on the lever type switch, but looking at , the fuse box if the graphics are correct there is no fuse in the blower fuse holder, and nothing for a fuse to grip to.

Sorry to add to an old post, but having blower problems with my 1995 fender, cannot find any live to the scalextric type lever, all fuses seem ok, i did put a live to one of the spades but still nothing, i was trying to change to a 2 speed rotary knob. At least its a while till winter.

Hi can anyone give me a simple wiring diagram for my lever type heater blower switch, i,m only getting 3vs at the live terminals but 12v at the fuse, does it go battery,-fuse,- switch,- motor? its not working at all, was trying to replace lever with a 2 speed rotary knob switch. also what is fuse 7 for, cos there a link wire from blower fuse to it?
Cheers Mike
