You need to make some inquiries as to where the respective kits are coming from.
I would say - If you can find a branded cooler then you will pay more for it but you can have some greater assurances that 1) It will fit correctly 2) It wont fail early and you'll get some decent lifetime out of it.
For example:
Land Rover Defender Td5 - Oil Cooler Assy. Kit. PBC500230 - NISSENS Brand | eBay
Hope that helps.

Thank you Mav. I was able to pick up a new Nissans set up for £80

Hi. I am replacing the oil cooler housing on my 110 td5. I have the replacement housing so I was just going to put new internals in. So that is the radiator, bolts and o rings. I see this listed at such a varying price. Like £35- £200 for the same looking kit. Can someone please advise as to a good replacement?

Hi. I think my oil cooler housing has a split where the sender screws in. Should I buy a used one from eBay or pay out for a new one? Only new ones I can find are Britpart ones. Also does anyone know what the difference is between the part numbers? I think I need a pbi100010 but there are a few with different part numbers but listed for the td5.

Hi. Is there anywhere in West Sussex, Hampshire area that can be recommended to do a galvanised chassis swap on a 110 td5 Defender?

Yes, I already had my suspicions on the rating of the wheels. Looking to change to heavy modular or wolf once I get the rest of the mechanical expenses out of the way. Thank you for the heads up
