[Hard tops - how do they dismantle?]

The inner roof liner is held in place similar to the rear seat side trim and will just pull apart

You will then see that the main roof itself is made up of 3 parts and is held together by screws if you remove the screws the sides will come apart

By doing so you will destroy the rear door window seal which is bonded in place

This seal is over £120 from Landrover

One you get it apart it will not just fit inside

my suggestion would be to have the rag top repaired

Just wondered if any one can help???

Have just fitted leather seats into my 2001 3 door td4 model s

When I was fitting the front seats in I noticed a connector block under the seat

think this is for the heater in the seat?

Question is how hard a job would it be to wire up the seat? Has anyone done this job before any pointers would be great! Any extra parts needed etc

thanks for the reply

took thermostat out and tested in hot water found to be ok

i think i have 2 problems with cooling side

when i looked under bonnet with engine running

found that fans are running all the time (vehicle has no air con)

so i think that is the first part

mine is a x reg 2001 year has it got a Fuel Burning Heater ?

if so where can i find it and can i test it?

i believe there is a ecu to control the cooling side mounted on the radiator itself (right hand side) is there a way to test this

heater in car gives out little or no heat

i think i read somewhere that there is a mod that can be done to the pipework from engine to increase the heat into the vehicle

Hi

Need to fit replacement r380 gearbox in defender 90 on 95 plate as rear shaft has gone

Friend only owned vehicle for a week not a very good start

has not alot of money so a ashcroft recon is out is the question

Is there a donor box that will fit i.e. disco or range rover??

If not can i use the innards from a donor box to fix his until funds are available
